Hi folks, Im planning on starting up a 1on1 league with two divisions, the amount of players in each will be based on the interest. There will most likely be a maximum of 8 players in each and tops 2 divisions.

Since this is the first time Im arranging a league I will be having a discussion about the format in this thread, the layout I been thinking about is the one below, but please come with ideas and critisism if you think you got a better idea for a certian segment:

LAYOUT
The layout will be that each player plays everyone in their division once in a match best out of 3 maps (PP, CR and TOT or FO, we will discuss this later).

Point system
You gain 1 point for each won map, so even if you lose you can gain a point. Winning the match (2-1 or 3-0) gives you one additional point aswell;

PlayerBlue (PB) vs PlayerRed (PR) the game ends 1-2 to PB, PB then gains 3 points, 2 for winning two maps and 1 for winning the match.

The maximum amount of points a player can gain in one game is therefor 4. Since every map is worth a point you need to play all 3 maps vs all opponents, even if the match already is at 2-0 and "over".


When everyone have played each opponent (7x3=21) The league is over and:

- 7-8th place in division1 (Shaman division?) will be moved down to division2 (Wildman division?).

- 1-2th place in W division moves up to S division.

- 5-6th place in S division will have to qualifie vs 3-4th place from W division.

- 5-8th in W division may have to play quali games vs players wanting to get into the system, Im pretty sure there will be dropouts, and people wanting to leave the league system after the season so most people that want to keep playing will probably get the chance.

- The rest stays in position and number 1 in S division is crowned Shaman of Shamans season 1!

Im pretty sure there will be dropouts, if you drop out under a season without a very good reason you will not be able to enter the division system for atleast 2 seasons and will ofcourse have to start in W division.

Shaman Division
1 - Crowned Shaman of Shamans!
2 - Stays in S div.
3 - Stays in S div.
4 - Stays in S div.
5 - Plays vs 4th in W div.
6 - Plays vs 3rd in W div.
7 - Moves down to W div.
8 - Move down to W div.

WildMan Division
1 - Moves up to S div.
2 - Moves up to S div.
3 - Plays vs 6th in S div.
4 - Plays vs 5th in S div.
5 - May have to play quali games vs new entrances
6 - May have to play quali games vs new entrances
7 - May have to play quali games vs new entrances
8 - May have to play quali games vs new entrances

Who starts where in the first season will be decided by a couple of experienced players from the community, We will only take in active people that we know will fullfull their commitment.
